The Qinzhou Automated Container Terminal at Guangxi Beibu Gulf Port, constructed with the participation of ZPMC, has been operating for two years.

As the world's first automated terminal with a U-shaped layout and China's first automated terminal for sea-rail intermodal transport, the terminal currently features four large container berths, a total quay length of 1,302 meters, and a designed annual capacity of 2.6 million TEUs. It can accommodate the world's largest container ships and connects to over 200 ports in more than 100 countries and regions.

Over the past two years, the terminal has achieved impressive results. By the end of June 2024, it had handled a total of 1,498 ship calls and achieved a throughput of 1.77 million TEUs.
